About Us
Knox Auto Body is a family-owned business in a small town in southern Maine, where the family has resided since the 1920s. Adrian and his father Leon opened a shop in 2004. Together they have built a team of experienced technicians, who work hard to combine the latest techniques, skills, and superior products, creating a "never been damaged" quality finish for your vehicle.
Adrian Knox co-owner, business manager, and master painter found his passion for automobiles when he was a teenager and continued to develop his skills by continuing his education at the Universal Technical Institute in Texas. Upon his return to Shapleigh, Maine he developed the entrepreneurial bug and saw a need for a quality auto shop in the local area. Knox Auto Body has continued to evolve and offers a variety of services to the community. Adrian enjoys meeting his customers, catching up with the locals, and being able to provide superior, high-quality repair for thousands of local customers.

Leon "Pa"
Co-Founder
Leon also known as “Pa” here in the shop started Knox Auto Body with his son Adrian. The vision was to offer quality auto body repair and restoration to the local community. Leon is often found sharing his mechanical and operational knowledge to the team. When he is not here in the shop working you can find him hard at work over in the sap house, cutting and maintaining the saw mill or getting our fleet of snow plows ready for winter.

Stan
Maintenance Technician
Stan joined the team when his daughter Megan married Adrian. He is the man that keeps this place running. Stan is highly diversified and can be found installing new equipment, troubleshooting, repairing, painting, woodworking and maintaining our facility inside and out. When not on the job you can find Stan enjoying his time outside on the beach and spending time with his family.

Eli
Auto Specialist
Eli is adept at resolving complex auto, diesel, farm, machinery and all equipment issues. He is always a professional with high commitment to safety and productivity. You will find him on the shop floor trouble shooting and repairing clients vehicles and working to keep our equipment and machinery in top condition. Eli is a farmer at heart and enjoys working on the family land. You always find Eli enjoying the outside and spending time with his family.

Bailey
Automotive Paint Technician / Auto Artist
Bailey is responsible for contributing to the hands-on production of quality paint applications. He can utilize his knowledge to work with different paints. He is a master at paint matching and blending, using the latest spray equipment and proven painting techniques to provide customers with flawless paint jobs that dazzle.

Auto Body Technician
Max is dedicated to fixing wrecked cars and returning them to customers in pre-accident condition. He has been on the Knox team now for over 10 years. Max is a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute. He finds pleasure in restoring old cars to their prior beauty. His education, knowledge, and hands-on experience make him one of our top guys.
